I tried my hand at photogrammetry for the first time! This little guy is at mom's house and I thought it was a prime candidate for my first 3D scan. The original scan has a little over 8.3 million tris and I reduced it to a bit under 200k. The topology isn't ideal because I was trying out Maya 2023's new retopology tools. From the original scan I baked the diffuse, normal and displacement maps. I also thought to make a different texture (wood) in Substance Painter to see what it would look like. For my first try I'm quite happy with the result.
