Technicolor Creative Studios Academy | 3D DMP for VFX

During the months of November and December of last year I had the pleasure of taking part in the 3DDMP for VFX course from the Technicolor Creative Studios Talent (formerly Academy @ The Focus).
Here I showcase the three exercises we did, the first one was a matte painting in Photoshop (from pictures provided by the academy), the second one projection mapping in Nuke after cleaning the plate in Photoshop and modeling the geometry in Maya, and last but not least, a robot we modeled and textured, then implemented into a plate that we cleaned and layout a scene over (with assets provided by the academy). For the robot I decided to do something Boston Dynamics inspired, modeled in Maya and textured with Substance Painter. The whole scene was tendered with Pixar's Renderman and composited in Nuke.
It was a great experience, I developed my artistic skills and met some very talented colleagues along the way.

Unfortunately because of technical issues, we only had 3 days for the projection mapping
